Frank Agsteribbe

Frank Agsteribbe (°1968) is a Belgian conductor, keyboard player, composer and visual artist. His repertoire encompasses music from the 16th century until today, including opera, vocal and instrumental baroque music, classical and romantic repertoire, and various contemporary art forms.

In 2005, Agsteribbe co-founded baroque orchestra B’Rock, which he conducted in many venues in Europe and South-Africa. As an opera conductor, he worked at the Opera Vlaanderen, the Ruhrtriennale (DE), Castleward Opera (NIE), Teatro Sao Carlos (PT), Le Grand Théâtre Luxembourg (LU), La Monnaie / De Munt and in the Opera Festival (FR). He conducted Concerto Köln (DE), the National Orchestra of Belgium and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Luxembourg (LU). He is artistic director of the vocal ensemble cantoLX (LU) and of the festivals 'Stille Kunst' and 'Passions et Lamentations' (LU).
