Yossif Ivanov

Yossif Ivanov (°1986) studied the violin with Zakhar Bron, Igor & Valery Oistrakh and Augustin Dumay.

Over the past seasons Ivanov has made debuts in major concert halls across Europe, performing with orchestras such as the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica della RAI and with all the major Belgian orchestras conducted by, among others, Neëme Järvi, Marin Alsop, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Vladimir Jurowski, Kazushi Ono, Jean-Claude Casadesus and Philippe Herreweghe.

Future orchestral projects include a debut with the Polish Chamber Orchestra in Stuttgart (DE), playing Beethoven, and a recital engagement at the Montreal Chamber Music Society in Brussels with a tour in Italy.

Since 2008, Ivanov teaches at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
